We have developed a great reputation for quality service and offer a first-class restaurant with 38 covers and outside dining space, cosy bar and 7 boutique guest rooms. With exciting times ahead, The New Inn, Yealand is scheduled for future investment and development, including 4 additional luxury suites, a new 50 cover restaurant and full kitchen refit scheduled within the next 18 months, it couldn’t be a better time to join our team!

The New Inn is a part of a small group of inns within the Lancashire and Cumbria borders. Owned and managed by the Robinson family for over 30 years, we aim to provide exceptional experiences to our guests and customers.

What we’re looking for from you:

· You’ll have a keen eye for producing quality food to a consistent standard.

· Relevant proven experience in a similar environment.

· Experience of food hygiene standards and relevant control measures used.

· The ability to work a variety of shifts with a flexible approach to working hours to suit the needs of the business

What you will receive from us:

- Help with relocation and accommodation

· from £11.50 per hour plus generous tips

· 45 hours per week

· Short-term live-in accommodation available (to assist with relocation)

· 28 days annual leave (pro-rata in line with hours worked)

Job description:

· To manage the daily preparation, cooking and service of high-quality food in a timely manner

· To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section

· To assist the kitchen team to maintain and improve quality, standards and cleanliness required by Head Chef

· To assist Sous and Head Chef in creating new recipes and menus writing

· To assist with the acceptance and storage of deliveries and make sure that all relevant company procedures are adhered to

· To keep high standards of cleanliness on section where employed, also to assist in any job regarding hygiene or cleanliness asked for by Head Chef
