The New Inn Kitchen is open!

Greg is a local very talented chef whom spent 7 years at The Kings Arms in Kirkby Lonsdale and brings with him a great following and even better reputation.

He prides himself on unpretentious, affordable food that is big on flavours and quality and this can be seen in his summer menu.

Food will be served Thursday (after the initial week) to Sunday 17.00 - 20.30pm

Starters and smaller plates

Whipped herb ricotta, chopped dates, lemon, honey, pine nuts, toasted herb bread £9 (v, gfa)

Porterhouse pork (Asado style)

10oz chop combining two cuts: top loin & tenderloin - brined, water bathed and pan seared, oven roasted vegetables, herb roasted parmentier potatoes, green herb chimichurri, charred lemon £26 (gf)

Green Curry of King Prawn.

Moderately spicy, creamy Thai curry, lemongrass, thick coconut milk, kaffir lime, Thai basil, fine green beans, steamed rice, lime pickled salad. £22 (vga)

Moules Frites

Steamed Shetland mussels, liquor butter reduction (no cream!), shallot,garlic, lemon, parsley, dill, skin on fries, confit garlic mayonnaise, mopping bread £18 (gf)

Arabic Lamb Baharat

Two grilled spiced lamb kofta, Bharat tomato sauce, yoghurt, arabic rice with za'ataar and sultanas, Durham wheat mini flat bread, side salad,                        Arabic condiments, pomegranate £24 (v.vga)
